(1) In 1963 Agfa Gevaert launched the Agfacolor CT13 Type S emulsion for Double 8 mm.
(2) ''Agfa, however, encountered difficulties with polyester; it was unable to accurately punch out the sprocket holes. Therefore Agfa was compelled to use the thicker material, acetate, that its American competitor, Kodak, was using. As a result, the jointly developed cartridge accommodated only 33 feet (10 meters) of Agfa film, whereas the same cartridge could accommodate 50 feet (15 meters) of the new Fuji Film [coated on a polyester (PET)]. A small batch of the new Agfa Single 8 film, with emulsion number 7882/4143 was offered for sale."
